How to download YouTube files that require cookies

To download some YouTube videos, you need to use cookies from the site.

They can be obtained by using a plugin for your browser.

If you are using Google Chrome:

1. Step 1

   Install the Get Cookies plugin (link).

2. Step 2

   Go to YouTube and log in.

3. Step 3

   Click on the plugins button and select Get Cookies.

4. Step 4

   Click Export. You will download a file with the name of this kind: youtube.com_cookies.

5. Step 5

   In the MP3Studio app go to settings.

6. Step 6

   In the section about Cookies, select the downloaded file and click “Add”.

7. Step 7

   Now you can download similar videos. If the error persists, you will need to save the new cookies and add them to MP3Studio.

If you are using Firefox Browser:

1. Step 1

   Install the Cookies plugin (link).

2. Step 2

   Go to YouTube and log in.

3. Step 3

   Click on the Cookies plugin.

4. Step 4

   Click on the Current Site button. You will download a file with a name of this kind: cookies.

5. Step 5

   In the MP3Studio app go to settings.
